Hobknob's are small decorative pillows that were made to be hung from doorknobs but can be used anywhere much like you would a tassel. The idea for a hobknob came from my desire to have something very unique in a room without having to commit to too much of something different. Keeping them smaller in scale, we combine several fabrics in unusual ways and embellish them with antique jewelry and buttons, ribbons, and elegant trims. The result is a small piece with a lot of visual interest.

This hobknob was made for a young girls bedroom. I was given some left over fabric and trim from her recent room remodel and designed a pillow and this piece for her. The ballerina pin, chosen for her love of dance, is an antique as well as all the buttons.
